Here's What We Are Doing To Spread the joy of Speech and Debate Within our Community!
Here's what we can do with your help
SUMMER CAMP
In order to provide students an enrichment opportunity while at home during quarantine, this summer of 2020 the officer board hosted a week-long virtual public speaking and debate summer camp for SCUSD middle school students.

More funds will help us hire a trained professional(s) to not only provide assistance to students at Wilcox but also take part in public speaking seminars within our middle schools.

Learning
With more resources and learning materials, we can begin to expand to the numerous elementary schools within SCUSD and help students ages 5-10 build confidence and fluency in public speaking.

Extra funds will go towards planning and hosting a novice speech and debate tournament at Wilcox itself, catering to middle schoolers within the Bay Area in need of real competitive experience.
